Like so many things that happen in life, when you hear about it from a trusted friend or relative, you can trust that the message is true and meaningful. The same is true when you tell someone about something you’ve found to be valuable or useful. You tell your friends and family about a great deal or contest you saw online, a sale happening at your favorite store, a great coupon for a free meal at your favorite restaurant. This kind of communication is called word of mouth. For business owners, it’s the best form of advertising. One reason it’s the best is that unlike most other methods, word of mouth is entirely free! Another is that element of trust that is built-in to this powerful means of spreading the word.
As the owner and operator of America’s Country, one of my struggles is building a strong and loyal family of listeners who will always be there. As a natural entertainer, I get a lot of joy and get energized when I can see that something I create brings people their own joy and fun. America’s Country is my creative outlet. I love doing it! When I look at the stats and see that there are hundreds of you listening all day long and day after day, it kindles the fire inside me and makes me want to do more and to do it better.
I am inviting you all to spread the word. Talk to your family, friends and co-workers about America’s Country. Tell them your honest opinions about us. Express how you really enjoy listening to our Hot Country Hits all the time. Tell them we don’t play commercials. Tell them they can request songs and I’ll play them. If you follow us on Facebook, you see that I always ask for them to share the page on their own timelines and that is wonderful. I think you’ll agree that if you take a moment and tell someone face-to-face or on the phone (not a text), the communication and the effect will be more meaningful and lasting.
How to do you tell them to listen? I know that it’s not as easy as telling them to tune in to 101.3 on their car radio, but point them to either this site: kxrtonline.com or have them go to facebook.com/americascountry. If they are Tweeters, have them go to twitter.com/americascountry. There are many ways to find and listen to us.
